In reply to: [External Links - nofollow, noopener & new window] Some design issuesHello Tom,
You could add the url of your social links to the setting under tab “Exceptions” > “Exclude external links by URL:”.

In reply to: [External Links - nofollow, noopener & new window] do not install!Sorry to hear.
The plugin filters the whole page before sending it to the visitor of your site. When deactivating the plugin, the site will just work like before. The plugin doesn’t change any of your content or configuration. Therefore you can easily change the appearance of all links.
In certain cases it has side effects or isn’t useful at all. It’s like peanuts, for many people it’s good and healthy, but some people have an allergy…

In reply to: [External Links - nofollow, noopener & new window] Main menu itemI agree and it is optional. Just look under tab “Admin settings” and disable the option “Create own admin menu for this plugin”.
Have you enabled the option Replace prefilled email addresses in input fields.?
- Go to the tab “Exceptions”
- Put the certain domain in “Exclude external links by URL”
- Check by “Own settings for excluded links” the option “Own settings for excluded links (extra tab)”
- Go to the tab “Excluded links” and set the options for the certain domain
True,
_newis not a valid value fortarget. That’s why the option was labelled as “NOT recommended”. Just select the option “each in a separate new window or tab”.So all visitors without mail client will be redirected to Gmail.
I have to think about maybe a better approach on this one. This is a good one. Only where would you want to redirect your visitors to?
There is nog way to exclude specific email addresses.
The plugin does add CSS class(es) to the mailto links. Maybe you could try to add some CSS styling to the mailto link (in the navigation bar) to solve the alignment issue.
This plugin only automatically scans posts, comments and (text) widgets.
To encode your emails on other parts of the site you will need to use the template function
eeb_email(). For more info see the help-section on the plugin’s admin page of your site or see FAQ item “How to use email encodig in Custom Fields?”.Hi Gerd,
I did some tests and this is an interesting bug of the Edge browser. Only a “l” or “i” followed by a “f” is being switched. I have no idea what’s causing this bug or how to fix it.Regards,
VictorThe plugin doesn’t “unload” anything, so there must be another explanation.
Maybe your theme checks if a Font Awesome stylesheet was already loaded, if not it loads it’s own version (with “icon-” classes) or else it doesn’t load anything and uses the FA version of the plugin.
I have to see for myself what’s really going on.

In reply to: [External Links - nofollow, noopener & new window] Incompatible with PHP 7An other cause
Should also be fixed in the plugin Widget CSS Classes version 1.5.0
Fatal error sounds like PHP instead of JavaScript.
This is JavaScript code and I had already tested it.
