After MANY hours on the phone with Godaddy, we think it might be an issue with GoDaddy’s managed wordpress hosting. They aren’t allowing an update to the current PHP (which is recommended by both WooCommerce and Printful). They said they’re still testing it with their systems.
In the meantime I’ve found a work around…
1. Login to your wordpress dashboard.
2. Flush the Cache (top menu in the dashboard Managed WordPress>Flush Cache)
3. Open an incognito window in Chrome (File>New Incognito Window)
4. Log in to Printful dashboard
5. Make sure you accept cookies in the top right
6. Go to shop and click “Refresh Data”, not the red button one, but the one in the top right.
7. Usually on the third time of refreshing data it syncs.JUST KIDDING. It’s not working again.
WooCommerce got back to me. They created a test website, all same versions of the plugins and WP and a test PF shop and got everything to work, so they recommended going back to Godaddy.
I logged into my shop this morning and just like @studiohjo everything is working!! I’ve added products, updated products, everything syncs perfect. The only thing I haven’t tried is putting in an order.
I don’t know what changed or how it got solved, but it seems things are all working now.
I think I have it narrowed down to an issue between WordPress Upgrading (does this automatically on managed WP) + WooCommerce plugin updating (it’s still not compatible with new WP version yet) + Printful plugin either not being compatible with new WP and/or Updated WooCommerce Plugin.
Godaddy referenced me to SkyVerge (who is a partner company with them and Woo). http://www.skyverge.com/support. That directs you to fill out a ticket with WooCommerce. So now I have a ticket into WooCommerce as well.
Printful has assured me they have relayed all of this to their developers.
I will keep you updated.
@jaywillie @studiohjo What WordPress themes are you using?
Oh yes! I forgot that! I changed API keys as well. Nothing.
Printful has said they are taking this to their developers and it might take some time to resolve.
GoDaddy is supposed to call me later today.
Here’s what I’ve done that has not worked:
– I have deactivated all plugins except WooCommerce and Printful, cleared all caches. I’ve tried this multiple times. No luck.
– I tried reverting to the previous version of WooCommerce (there was an update 5 days ago). I got the shop to sync once, then it stopped again.
– I spent hours on the phone with my host yesterday (Godaddy). They checked for firewalls, there are none. They see no issues on their end as far as server and responses. I even paid money to upgrade to a highest level hosting, just in case that was the issue.
– The Woocommerce log shows no problems. The Printful plugin log shows no problems.
– They also increased the server execution time. This did not solve the problem, data did not refresh.
This does not seem like an isolated issue. If I get anything done with GoDaddy today I will update here.
I’m also with GoDaddy. They had me upgrade to Managed WordPress with eCommerce. It still didn’t help. I’ve talked to 3 people at GoDaddy, they all insist everything is fine.
Printful also said it was an SSL issue. I checked all that, made the changes they suggested, and still no syncing.
Printful swears it’s the host. Godaddy says everything is working. Printful had me upgrade my PHP. That did not work. They also said JetPack was the issue. We disabled all plugins and just did WC and Printful plugins, still didn’t work.
I was able to sync the shop Monday, but then we updated plugins and everything has been bad since then. I did get it to sync twice, randomly today, but I have no explanation as to why it worked. I haven’t been able to get it to repeat the sync.
I am having the same issue. Spent most of my day with hosting and Printful trying to resolve it. I noticed this happened shortly after upgrading to the newest version of WooCommerce plugin. I reverted back to an older version, it synced twice and then back to the same issue.
