In reply to: [Contact Form 7] form change is unable to saveThis could be due to an intermittent JavaScript conflict with your WP theme or one of the other plugins you are using.
Switch temporarily (nothing will be lost when you switch back) to a WP default theme & disable all plugins other than Contact Form 7 to see if the problem goes away.
If it does you can switch back to your theme & re-activate each plugin one by one to see when the problem occurs.
Also disable temporarily any JS caching & optimization if you have that enabled.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Form ErrorI see you are still using a
recaptchatag in your form.CF7 5.1.+ updated to reCAPTCHA v3.
You may have issues if you’ve:
- previously used reCAPTCHA v2 with CF7
- updated to CF7 5.1.1 or newer and
- not changed your previous reCAPTCHA v2 keys to reCAPTCHA v3 keys at Contact > Integration.
The API keys for reCAPTCHA v2 don’t work with the reCAPTCHA v3 API.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] reCAPTCHA Stopping Form From Working@muradgull, @jayzinn & @conor_hyland – see I have the same problem! Can I just reply to someone else’s post with “Me too”?.
If you are willing to create a new question, which details your issues, somebody will likely be able to help you there.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Change sender email to the actual sender of the formThe simplest option is to always use a From: address that matches the domain name where the form is hosted. If you don’t it’s now likely that your CF7 form emails will get rejected as spam somewhere.
Then include Reply-To: [your-email] in the “Additional Headers” field.
Additional Headers: Reply-to: [your-name] <[your-email]>This will allow you to use Reply in your email application to reply to the form users email address.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Attachment problem@chrisology123 – I recommend people should not use SMTP unless they have a specific reason to do so. It requires detailed setup to suit your hosting to work. If you don’t get it right it won’t work.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Multiple forms on 1 pageUsing 2 CF7 forms is unlikely to be the cause of your problem – I have pages with dozens of CF7 forms that work flawlessly.
It’s possible you simply have an issue/error with 1 of your forms.
I’d also focus elsewhere starting with the usual switch temporarily (nothing will be lost when you switch back) to a WP default theme & disable all plugins other than Contact Form 7 to see if the problem goes away.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Contact Form 7 not sending emails- no confirmation, no errorThat plugin is likely crashing JavaScript on your page. CF7 needs operating JavaScript to display errors etc.
I’d recommend you advise the plugin author – they may be able to help.
I imagine most plugin authors would want to ensure that their theme/plugin works correctly with a very popular plugin like Contact Form 7.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] submit hidden form id or form title within the form?Special Mail Tags will let you easily see which CF7 form was submitted.
If you want more detailed control Getting Default Values from the Context may assist.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Not Working On Mobile / Different BrowsersThis could be due to a conflict with your WP theme or one of the other plugins you are using. It’s relatively common to have JavaScript issues on one platform that are not a problem on other platforms.
Also CF7 5.1.+ updated to reCAPTCHA v3 which requires JavaScript operating on your page to complete. The orange error border can indicate reCAPTCHA v3 is not working correctly on your site (there can be other reasons).

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] (Noob Question) What should go in To: and From: Filelds? If your site is hosted at example.com then the simplest options are:
To: another@example.com – using the same To & From address is not allowed on some host.
From: [your-name] <me@example.com> – provided me@example.com is a valid address on the domain where your site is hosted.
Subject: sitename – [your-subject] – the”can sometimes causing parsing issues. If your site is NOT hosted at example.com you will probably need to use SPF records or perhaps SMTP to send your CF7 emails successfully.
