Block bindings are amazing, but showing the data frontend is still a hassle compared to ACF or ACPT integration. I use custom fields a lot, currently with Kadence or Greenshift blocks. But the way you expanded the native blocks, plenty of sites could be created with your Twentig plugin… except for custom fields.

I don’t miss much in the theme, and some might be FSE in general:

• Being able to have the menu on the right on mobile, and the Woo account and cart left of the menu.
• Being able to have a submenu dropdown without the outline (without css).
• Being able to have a Woo side-cart with an ‘add more’ button (with editable text and shop url).
• A popup or side-modal is something I miss (I especially use side-modals a lot). But there are many plugins for that functionality.
• Being able to have a ‘Back to shop’ button on the Woo checkout page.
• Being able to add a product to the cart on a single product page and open the side-cart, with no link to the normal cart. To be honest, I try to avoid the normal cart as much as possible; visitors love the side-cart.
• Being able to adjust the quantity (-/+)of added products on the Woo checkout page.
• A link in the editor to the CSS code directly would be lovely; I keep searching every time.

Of course there are enough plugins that have this functionality, but that would mean leaving the superclean, fast setup you created.

But I really love your theme in general. Some (most) FSE themes are a bit messy/chaotic. Partly that’s on WordPress, but some developers make it even messier. Twentig One is a very clean theme. Thanks! Will be testing your theme with Greenshift blocks now.

New information: I deactivated all plugins and activated them again, one by one.

The plugin ‘Custom Post Type UI’ from WebDevStudios is causing it. That might explain why it also happened on other installs; it’s a widely used plugin.

Sorry, my mistake. It is just about a normal page. Whenever I try to edit a page with BOGO active, it shows the message: “You attempted to edit an item that doesn’t exist. Perhaps it was deleted?”

Sometimes, after 3-5 refreshes it goes to the block editor, but typically, it fails totally. And when, occasionally, it does show the block editor after 3-5 refreshed, it shows the same error message when I insert a block and try to save.

• Whenever I attempt to edit an existing page.
• When I create a new page.

It shows this message.

It is tested now on the Kadence theme and the Astra theme (both ‘classic’ block themes, not FSE).

My test setup: Dutch and English.

KadenceWP found the same bug: English, and I don’t know what other language they used.

I can provide you with access to the test installation as an Admin if you like, so you can see it for yourself.

Kadence is just one of the (more popular) block themes. Not FSE, more like a hybrid theme. The builder used is just the native Gutenberg editor with both native blocks + Kadence blocks.
