Hi @wgruppe2021,
Thanks for your message.I couldn’t see a question in your post – could you clarify what you need support with?
Hi @wgruppe2021,
Thanks for your reply. The notification that is sent out when a new user registers is called ‘New User Registration – For User’ in the Better Notifications for WordPress plugin. You can also send a notification to the admin at the same time and this notification is called ‘New User Registration – For Admin’.
If the user has lost their password and requested a password reset, you can use the ‘User Lost Password – For User’ notification.
WordPress hasn’t been able to send plain text passwords in email notifications since version 4.3, released in 2015, and instead only sends a password reset link.
If you’re receiving an email with the information posted in your first message in thier thread, it may not be being sent by BNFW and instead by another plugin, such as an eCommerce or Membership plugin. Please let me know if this helps.
i have memberpress, but all emails in memberpress are displayed, i can’t find any templates in the mail templates in the memberpress plugin, and the design looks more like original wordpress.
okay, after further tests, the email user password lost, there is in your plugin for editing, subject I could change but the text is not taken over, and the other email your new password to user and password forgotten/changed to admin does not exist in your plugin, I have turned off everything in memberpress that has to do with mail, also for testing also another one of name set to test, but the mails probably come from wordpress. Maybe you should have a look at the problem, as it seems that several people have this problem

it seems that memberpress can be hooked into the original template, it’s a pity that there’s nothing in the memberpress doc. that would solve 1 problem
This email is not editable in the MemberPress settings, but you might be able to alter it with this: https://library.wpcode.com/snippet/05k4jxvo/
HI @wgruppe2021,
Are you trying to override a MemberPress notification using BNFW? Or are you trying to override one of the default notifications that WordPress sends?-

Better Notifications for WP Support.
I try to change the original template, but the hook from meberpress does not take over the editing of the mail with bnfw, but only subject but not the body
Hi @wgruppe2021,
Just to confirm that BNFW is working as expected, please can you disable MemberPress (just for testing) and then re-test the BNFW notification to see if it works as expected? If it does, then we’ll know that MemberPress is overriding the default notification but BNFW isn’t then able to override it again. You can re-enable MemberPress after we’ve confirmed this.Closing due to inactivity. If you need further help with this, please feel free to re-open this thread.
