This could be an issue with their theme, not that they need to change anything, but that Variation Swatches is a new plugin, and we have not tested it in every theme.
We will test the filter with your theme to see what we can do there.

We don’t have any option to show the Label next to the Color on the shop page.
I’ll make a feature request, and hopefully, our developers will consider adding the option in one of the future updates.
