I backed up a site on local and I am attempting to restore the backup to a newly setup empty WP installation on the server, however when I try to upload the backup file, either by dropping it into the box or via the [Select Files] button, I get an error message:

wpvivid_request: error(): an error occurred when trying to establish communication with your server. This error may be request not reaching or server not responding. Please try again later.

    What could be the problem?

    Hello,

Please check the permissions of your target website directory. Ensure that it’s readable and writable (0755), particularly the wp-content/wpvividbackups folder. This is where WPvivid stores backups, and if it’s not writable, you won’t be able to upload the backup files.

    Kind regards.

Thank you for your reply. I have been able to fix the issue. The domain name is registered at cloudflare so I have to use their DNS servers rather than my hosting company’s. The issue was that the SSL/TLS encyption mode set on cloudflre and used to connect to the origin server needed to be set to Full (Strict). Once that was set, I was able to upload the backup file and perform the restore.
