Hello. Can’t translate labels name, although the strings are found in WPML and I translate them, they are not displaying translated.
I have the latest woocommerce and Flexible Checkout Fields for WooCommerce plugin versions.
    Is there a compatibility problem?

  • Hi,
    the same problem here.

    Hi @sardst, hi @kubafon81,

Have you updated the WPML Multilingual CMS to 4.3.4 and WPML String Translation to 3.0.4? We’ve been notified about the similar issues and they were solved in its latest release.

The more info what exactly has been fixed can be found directly at the WPML blog:

    Kind regards,

yes, I have the latest version for all three plugins. (flexible checkout, wpml and wpml string translation)

    Hi Łukasz,
    thank you for your reply.

@lusp following your message i’ve tried different versions for WPML plugins and I’ve noticed that the latest flexible checkout plugin works as it should with a combination of wpml 4.2.9, wpml strings 2.10.7 and wpml translation management 2.8.8

    @sardst,

Thank you for checking this out. If our latest FCF version works properly with the previous WPML releases, it means that apparently they have changed something in the next updates. I believe in such case it should be consulted and sorted out directly by the WPML authors to make sure if they are aware of the problem.

    I have the same issue.

    Someone sort this out? How?

    Thanks.

I’ve sort it out with wpml team. in fact it’s more of a workaround.

    This was their reply.

“Open the file in location using FTP
    /wp-content/plugins/flexible-checkout-fields/inc/wpdesk-woo27-functions.php

Commenting out the line from 54 – 56 (please refer to the screenshot) .”

    And after that:

    “Please follow these steps

    – Goto WPML > Suppor > Troubleshooting, Click on the button “Show custom MO Files Pre-generation dialog box”

    – This will generate a popup to scan the mo files for the translation, If you don’t see that immediately try navigating to WPML > String translation

    – Scan for the mo files and wait for the process to complete”

    Hi @sardst,

Thank you for posting the reply you received from WPML support. We really do appreciate it. We believe it is a temporary work-around just for now, however, we hope even though, it will help many Flexible Checkout Fields users who encountered the same problem.

In view of the foregoing I’m marking this thread as resolved.

    Kind regards,
