I’m seeing this issue and while I know how to change that via CSS it’s a big problem for sites I build for clients. There should be a setting in the block to control this. I have clients who have wrestled with this issue and spent a lot of time on it before reaching out to me. Is there any way to control the extra top and bottom margin Astra adds to full size images? .wp-block-image.size-full{margin:2rem 0;}
As you can see my response to that thread, I don’t think I understand this. Is it possible for you to provide the steps to replicate it? Screenshot of how it looks? And maybe, a link URL of page where you have this happens, so I can check it from my end?
Hi Herman. I’m attaching two screenshots showing default and adjusted CSS for this issue. I can imagine using both in different circumstances but feel it should be much easier for a non-admin to be able to set the top margin in the block editor.
The adjusted CSS is:
.wp-block-image.size-full{margin:0rem 0;}
Default CSS vertically positions image in the center of the paragraph.Adjusted CSS allows image to align with first line of paragraph.

Actually, there’s no way to upload an image/video directly to this forum. As the forum guide I shared previously says, we will need to upload the image/video somewhere else then share the direct link here.
This might be me, however, I think I am lost here. Why did we discuss Dropbox more than your query? π
Can we please back to discuss your initial query? I asked you to share screenshot, so I can understand it better. If you would like to use Dropbox to share the screenshots, please go ahead.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Kind regards,
Herman π
