Right ok, so you are working on it?
Yes, I checked how others (Mailchimp for WordPress) solved this and now I’m able to build my own block/extension. But it will take some time since other tasks are having a higher priority (I’m not part of the EO team)

Makes sense.
I hope EO are paying you because WP users could not use their services with this plugin ; )
I don’t get paid, but I wrote the plugin for the sites of my customers and our own.
The plugin works perfectly with the “old” checkout version. The WC team pushed the block version while most of the themes and plugins haven’t build any new versions. Many EM integrations are still not working, for example MailerLite. The Mailchimp integration, which is not developed by Mailchimp, is the first one I found in 2 years.
Many checkout plugins are still using the templates because there is not enough documentation for the block version. For my own clients I don’t use the block version, because there are so many problems with other plugins and integrations.

Hi Olaf, that is really interesting info. We currently use Fluid Checkout which is built on the classic checkout. It works just fine, I was just experimenting with the block checkout as it feels a little more performant. Woo do have a tendency to release stuff without thinking how it effects the ecosystem unfortunately.
thanks
