Widget not working with shortcode

Hi,
I just started using this widget and I got it to work in the sidebar of my page just fine, but when I try to add in to a page itself with shortcode it doesn’t appear to work. I added the shortcode as instructed, and the page does seem affected, a large white space shows up instead of the facebook feed. I even tried by copy/pasting the example from the FAQ to de Instagram page and it has the same result. Am I doing something wrong. In the included example page I added it to the sidebar and the main page to see the difference.
