I have tried to back up website but receive the following message after the backup runs for a short time —

We were unable to create a backup of your website due to the following:

Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Class “PDO” not found in /home/c8dnnxbpqtr9/public_html/wp-content/plugins/boldgrid-backup/vendor/ifsnop/mysqldump-php/src/Ifsnop/Mysqldump/Mysqldump.php:157

  • Hello @fredptheo,

Thanks for reaching out, and I’m sorry you’re running into this issue during your backup attempt.

The error message you’re seeing, Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Class “PDO” not found, usually means that the PDO (PHP Data Objects) extension is not enabled on your server.

To help troubleshoot further, could you let me know:

    • What PHP version your site is currently using
    • What kind of hosting or server environment you’re running (shared hosting, VPS, etc.)

These details will help me guide you more accurately. You may also want to check with your host to confirm that the PDO extension is enabled in your PHP configuration.

Let me know what you find.
    Elana

Where do I find the PHP version? I am using GoDaddy as the host and you Boldgrid for the website.

    Hello @fredptheo,

Thank you for reaching out to our support team.

You can get the PHP version from your WordPress admin, under Tools -> Site Health -> Server.

    Thanks
