Thanks for your report. I have been able to reproduce this on my system. It occurs when a custom field query is used to filter the “Set Featured Image” popup window content. The content is updated properly but may include non-image items.
I have uploaded a new MLA Development Version dated 20250815 that corrects the problem. You can find step-by-step instructions for using the Development Version in this earlier topic:

Once the Development Version is installed you can retest the content filtering in the Set Featured Image popup window.
The fix will be part of my next MLA version in a month or so. In the interim it would be great if you could install the Development Version and let me know if it works for you. Thanks for alerting me to this MLA defect.
