v2.5.4 CE plugin token warning after setup | WordPress.org

Hello,

After updating the plugin to v2.5.4 a warning appears in WordPress admin on all my sites: “Almost there! Stats tracking requires a Plausible plugin token. Create one on the Settings screen, and press Connect to complete setup.” even if the plugin is connected to my Plausibe CE instance and tracking.

I tried purging cache and resetting the connection, everything works fine except the warning I cannot close/dismiss.

Hi!

This notice shouldn’t appear to CE users. Can you send me screenshots of your settings?

Thanks for the report. I just released 2.5.5, which resolves the issue!

Seems all good with 2.5.6-beta. Tracking still works as intended, no missing token notice. Thanks!
