Users synced as Transactional only

    Would like to know how we can add users from check-out after ticking the checkbox as subscribed to the newsletter rather than only giving them the status transactional.

    We have added the opt-in checkbox to the check-out page. Currently, all users that have accepted to be added to the newsletter are now marked as eligible for transactional emails.

    @emilepukander are you using Double Opt In settings on your Mailchimp list? What you’re describing is not how the plugin should be acting – so it makes me think that you might be using GDPR fields possibly? Double Opt In?

    What version of the plugin are you using? As of this post, we’re on 2.5.1
