    Hello,

I’m very happy with the plugin. Now, I would like to be able to manage the avatar manually in the admin. I have tried to place a specific image url in the avatar field. In a first time, the image is visible, but after saving the review, the standard avatar image is displayed!

How can I chose a specific image for avatar?

    Regards

    Pat

If you disable the “Regenerate Avatars” setting then Site Reviews will always use the avatar saved to the review.

    Hi Paul,

Well, I tried this but still have the same issue. When I modified (or create a new one) a review, I can chose the right image and the image is displayed. Then, as soon as I save the review, the image became : https://secure.gravatar.com/avatar/22257667b2b4aaf098ac0d2d41822c3355d3018206b3207c8120fce7911db414?s=80&d=mm&r=g

    Any idea?

    Hi Paul,

Just make a test with different image formats. I was using png which does not work. As soon as I move to jpg, everything is fine. Is it a normal limitation and what are the working image formats?

Oooppss, Sorry, but it seems some png are working! So, this is not an issue with format. I still an an issue with my initial png image. What are the other parameters that could lead to reject an image during the review validation process?

This sounds like a possible caching (browser/plugin cache), issue.

    Hi Paul,

In fact, I just changed the file name and now, it’s OK. Don’t know which character was not aloud. Here is the initial file name : Screenshot-2026-03-20-at-15-38-18-Evaluation-laissee-par-William-–-Airbnb
