• Some days ago I tried to upgrade from WordPress 5.4.6 to WordPress 5.8, but every time I selected the auto update option, I got an error like: “Couldn’t copy file: wordpress/wp-includes/blocks/separator/style-rtl.min.css”. So I decided to update WordPress through FTP. After that, I wasn’t able to update plugins manually and my site was throwing large database errors constantly.

Given this situation, I deleted my website with one of my hosting features and I was thinking of restoring my web later with a previous backup, but when I tried to install a newer version of WordPress I got an error.

I’ve enabled wordpress debugging in my wp-config.php file, this is the error.log.

    How can I solve it?

Are you trying to restore the site or a use a backup?

Is this the log for the failed upgrade?

I was trying to use a backup, but now I can’t even install the backup plugin because of the error.

    Yes, it is

I was trying to use a backup, but now I can’t even install the backup plugin because of the error.

I suggest you to get in touch with your hosting tech support, and see if they can help you restoring the site.

Wait… Backup plugin or a full site backup (Files & Database)?
