    HI there,

I have terrible issue with WordFence on a site.
I tried to delete the plugin, but the message is “An unexpected error occured while attempting to configure Wordfence to delete its data on deactivation”
I tried to deactivate 2FA and the message is “An error was encountered while trying to deactivate two-factor authentication,. please try again”

I tried to install Wordfence Assistance, but I cannot access the add new plugin page, and I get this error page “Your access to this site has been temporarily limited by the site owner
Your access to this service has been temporarily limited. Please try again in a few minutes. (HTTP response code 503)”

I get the same 503 error page when I click on anything in the back end of the site, I cant make any edits whatsoever. And I cant delete the troublesome plugin.

    Can you please help?

PS: I am getting that same 503 issue no matter what I do. Even when I tried to Logout. The only way I can access the site is via the cpanel.

Hi @kkcvwebdesign, thanks for your message.

Would you be able to get us a screenshot of the errors you’re seeing to wftest @ wordfence . com (not attached to this forum topic)? Please include your forum username in the subject line and let me know here when you’ve sent it.

I feel that your site may be blocklisted or is not detecting visitor IPs properly, but can’t say for certain without further information about the errors.

    Thanks,
    Peter.

    What about deleting the folder:
    .\wp-content\plugins\wordfence\
And also remove WF Stuff with MySqlAdmin by hand?
    And also clear up .htaccess

    Just asking.
