    Hi,

this is an interesting plugin however I get an error message

Warning: Undefined variable $lang in …\plugins\autocomplete-search\public\class-autocomplete-search-public.php on line 108

Also the plugin says it does custom types but that does not show up in the plugin settings page ( I would just like to search bbress topic titles).

Also the search is case sensitive.

It would be nice to be able to set the size of the search box

    Hi @clivesmith,

    Thanks for the feedback 🙂
All the points you mentioned have been addressed in the latest version (v1.2.0):

    • ✅ Fixed the Undefined variable $lang warning when no multilingual plugin is active
    • ✅ Improved custom post type detection — bbPress topics can now be included in search
    • ✅ Search behavior is now case-insensitive
    • ✅ Added styling control for the search box (via shortcode class & CSS)

Please update to v1.2.0 and let me know if you notice anything else or have further suggestions.

Thanks again for testing the plugin!

    Hi,

Thank you, that has helped a lot, is it possible to separate the search critiria a bit more like topic title and / or topic contents it would help narrow a search down.

Also I assume you have checked it for security risks.

    Regards

    Clive

Sorry I may not have been clear, I meant for the admin to be able to separate the post type into search title and / or contents
