  • Hi, these warnings come from the Account box on the W3 Total Cache dashboard, and they do not affect the caching itself.

I looked at the current version (2.11.0): to fill that box, the plugin asks the W3 Total Cache license server for your license status, and then reads license_status from the reply (Generic_WidgetAccount_View.php, lines 18 to 43). It only checks that a reply came back, not that the reply contains license_status. So if the license server answers with an error, or your server cannot reach it properly, you get exactly these “Undefined property” warnings, and the box shows “Unknown”.

    What you can do:

    • On a live site, hide PHP warnings from the screen: in wp-config.php set define( 'WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY', false ); (or turn WP_DEBUG off). They can still go to the log if you use WP_DEBUG_LOG.
    • Check Tools > Site Health for any notice about failed outgoing HTTP requests. A firewall or the host blocking outgoing requests is a common reason for an empty or error reply.

For the plugin team: checking isset( $w3tc_license->license_status ) before using it in that view would stop these warnings.
