I reopen this issue a second time (see 3 months ago) as you closed it without being resolved.

Within the option “Last Logins” of the Sucury Plugin menu there is a tab called “failed logins”.

When pressing in there the button “Delete all failed logins” I get the crazy message “sucuri-failedlogins.php was deleted.” and the list is not emptied as expected at all.

Please DO NOT SET THIS ISSUE TO RESOLVED as long as it is not resolved. Three months ago you stated: “I have our engineers taking a look at it and once they find the issue we will respond”.

Can you please update this issue and tell us “the state of the art” ?

Again: please DO NOT SET THIS ISSUE TO RESOLVED as long as it is not resolved.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

@michae2l We published a fix for this issue when we released version v1.9.10. Are you running the updated version of the plugin?

The error still exists within the current version 2.1 of your plugin.

@michae2l We tried to recreate the issue on our end and could not. We’ve recently released a new version 2.2. Can you see if you see the same issue on your end once you’re on the new version?

…the same – the issue still exists – no error is reported in the browser-console running along the WP dashboard.

@michae2l can you provide us with a screenshot in snipboard so we can see the issue?

The Log-File became quite big and might impact the website performance sooner or later. Do you have a SQL-script to remove the logs manually in den WP-Database ?

You wrote: “can you provide us with a screenshot in snipboard so we can see the issue?”

Are you kidding ? There is nothing you can see, the log-data is just never emptied when pressing the delete-button. The log-data stays the same. A screenshot before and after shows no change at all.

Again, the issue becomes urgent as your log-file grows bigger and bigger: Do you have as a workaround a SQL-script to remove the logs manually in den WP-Database, please ?

    @michae2l

We don’t store those logs in the database. So there’s no SQL query you can run to delete those entries.

In Settings > Data Storage, please select failedlogins.php and oldfailedlogins.php from the list and hit Delete.

If for some reason that doesn’t work, you can go into the server and delete them manually, as we don’t write these logs to the database.

@michae2l Did the above workaround work?

    Thread Starter michae2l

The workaround successfully deleted the data.

This issue can therefore be closed.

    Thank you.
