Unable to complete backup
-
Backups had been running and stored offsite until a few weeks ago, when I noticed I wasn’t getting emails of completion.
The log file shows that files are added to plugins.zip, but it never advances further.
I have disconnected it from offsite storage and just run it manually, but it still doesn’t progress. I don’t dare update plugins, etc. until I know I have a good backup.
WordPress 6.7.2, php v8.1.32, mySQL v10.6.21-MariaDB-cll-lve, PHP memory limit 256.0 MiB, PHP Max Script Execute Time 30s
I do get the message “Warning: WordPress has a number (25) of scheduled tasks which are overdue. Unless this is a development site, this means that the scheduler in your WordPress install is not working properly. Read this page for a guide to possible causes and how to fix it.” I did read the page. I would think running it manually would work? No?
I checked wp-config and did not see a disabled scheduler, nor a memory limit defined. Is that the same memory as PHP memory limit as shown above as 256.0?
Ok, it’s Godaddy, which I’m not happy about, and I’m trying to get them to switch, but some are resisting.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance
