periodically (about once a year) this happens, isn’t there a better way to contact support? in my case I would say its quite easy, real spam are never from my country, and all false spam denies are from it, can’t the algorithm be skewed to include this fact?

    Thank you

    Hello @funique

I have analyzed marked as NotSpam requests in your Anti-Spam log. I noticed that you are using the cache plugin, which can interfere with the transmission of parameters required for filtering. We suggest the following:

    • clear the website cache;
    • make sure that the website cache is 24 hours or less. Such an option should be in the cache plugin settings.

Unfortunately, it’s not possible to whitelist an entire country. Doing so would disable spam filtering for that country entirely, allowing all requests, including those from known spam sources. This would likely result in a significant increase in spam, especially with a high-traffic country like the USA.

As for contacting our support, you can always create a ticket in our private Ticket System:

SO nice to have humans actually answer the questions asked, Thank you 😉

    1. However, my cache tools are disabled (except fonts), so not sure what you saw to say this?
    2. Skewing for me doesn’t mean whitelisting, it’s just including it as a parameter to consider in spam analysis
    3. Sorry, hadn’t seen the link on this page, the button being so much more obvious! https://cleantalk.org/my/support

    Hello @funique

    1. We can see if you are using a cache solution in Anti-Spam requests. In your case, it is the SG Optimizer.
    2. We take the visitor’s country into account when filtering requests. This means that no enhanced filters are applied to requests from your country, and there are some that lower the overall spam rating of the request. However, in your case, the issue isn’t the user’s location, but rather the JavaScript parameters that were transmitted incorrectly due to the cache.
    3. That’s a fair point, the ticket system link isn’t the most obvious., I agree. It’s on our wishlist for improvements.

Could you please let us know when you made the changes we suggested above so we can test the web form?

As mentioned, all caching options are turned off, so nothing to try there

    Hello @funique,

In this way, please do the following:

WordPress Admin Page —> Settings —> Anti-Spam by CleanTalk —> Advanced settings —> set the option “Set cookies” to “Store data in the website database (alternative mechanism)” —> Save Changes.

Once you made changes, let us know so that we can re-test the form.

    Hello @funique

I checked the checkout form — it’s better now, but we’re still missing a few parameters.

I also kept running into 500 Internal Server Errors when trying to open pages like Checkout and Contact Us, or even when switching to the English version.

This makes me think something might be blocking our scripts or interrupting the data we need for filtering.
Could you please check the server error logs for more details about these 500 errors, and then contact us through our ticket system for further investigation?

I realized that tonight, but related to updates. Seems the permalinks settings we re not saved after which needs to be done every time. DO you still see same errors?

Thank you for the update. Unfortunately, I am still encountering issues during testing:

    1. I continue to receive a 500 Internal Server Error.
    2. I see several errors in the browser’s console.
    3. I cannot complete an order. When I check the box for “J’ai lu et j’accepte les Termes & conditions *”, the checkout form becomes unresponsive and does not allow me to submit it.

Please let us know when these issues have been resolved on your end. We will be happy to continue our investigation once the website is performing correctly.

    Hello.

I just did a form test. There were no 500 errors or console errors. The problem with transferring parameters that are important to us still exists, but I also see in the requests that you have not switched the “Set cookies” option to alternative mode.

However, there is another problem with the form – requests for our verification are sent automatically several times without clicking the order button. To investigate this issue, we will need some details about your website. Please contact us via our private Ticket System and add there a link to this topic: https://cleantalk.org/my/support/open.
