• Hello YITH Support Team,

I am experiencing a critical issue with the “YITH Request a Quote” free plugin. The quote functionality is not working, and after extensive troubleshooting, I’ve isolated the problem to a fundamental integration failure.

Here is a summary of the issue and the steps I’ve already taken:

    1. The Goal: To use the “Request a Quote” button on my WooCommerce product pages, which are built with an Elementor Pro template.
    2. The Core Problem: The option to “Enable Request a Quote” is completely missing from the WooCommerce product edit page (“Product Data” section). This happens even with all other plugins and themes disabled.
    3. Shortcode Failure: Because of this, the [yith_ywraq_add_to_quote] shortcode does not work in my Elementor template. It simply does not render anything.
    4. Troubleshooting Performed:
      • I have confirmed that other shortcodes (like WooCommerce’s [products]) work correctly in the same Elementor template, so Elementor itself is processing shortcodes.
      • I confirmed that the shortcode for the quote list ([yith_ywraq_request_quote]) does work correctly on a separate page. The issue is isolated to the “add to quote” button functionality.
      • I performed a full conflict test:
        • Switched to the default “Storefront” theme. The issue persisted.
        • Deactivated all plugins except for WooCommerce and YITH Request a Quote. The issue persisted.
      • I performed a clean reinstall:
        • I deactivated and deleted both the YITH plugin and the WooCommerce plugin.
        • I reinstalled fresh copies of both, starting with WooCommerce, then YITH.
        • Even after a clean installation and with no other plugins active, the “Enable Request a Quote” option is still missing from the product edit page.
