I am rebuilding our site in a staging environment. When I view the homepage, some elements on the page fail to load about 85% of the time. No error message or broken image icon, etc. They just appear as a large blank space. I don’t see a consistent trend in what loads and what doesn’t. Any advice is appreciated.

Dimes to donuts you’re having issues where their recent change from 1.6 to 1.7 where they starting loading assets via cloud instead of locally, which I’m not a fan of at all and why I haven’t updated to 1.7.

I am using v1.7.1. We chose it recently, so I don’t think we had the pleasure of experiencing 1.6.

Check that you are not using any performance optimization plugins. The issue seems to be related to animations not loading properly, which may be caused by JS optimizations.

@houndecho Thank you! I moved WP Rocket into Safe Mode and all elements are now loading across test browsers! (Now to figure out if I need to torpedo WP Rocket entirely or if I need to play with the configuration.)
