Love the flexibility, but man, how come in 2026 we still cant see rudimentary analytics like add to cart, cart abandonment or conversion rate metrics that is available on any other platform without relying on paid third party or setting up complicated GA4 stuff

    Hi @regedy1,

Thank you for your honest feedback, and for your love of WooCommerce’s flexibility! I want you to know we hear you loud and clear. You’re right that built-in analytics in WooCommerce core does not include metrics like add-to-cart events, cart abandonment, and conversion rates. I understand that relying on paid third-party plugins or using GA4 configurations isn’t ideal.

We’re working on improving this. We’ve released WooCommerce Analytics in early access (beta): https://woocommerce.com/products/woocommerce-analytics/. This extension is designed to bring more robust, actionable analytics directly into WooCommerce, without the complexity of external setups. Since it’s in beta, we’re actively refining it based on feedback from users like you. Please note that some features are still under development.

If you need any help with integrations or setting up analytics for your store, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us. Even if the setup seems complex, we’ll do everything we can to help you achieve your goals.

If there are other features you feel WooCommerce is missing, we’d love to hear about them.

Thank you again for sharing your thoughts and being a part of the community!

it seems that plugin also doesn’t have ATC, Cart Abandonment nor Conversion rate. How is this not the highest priority for an ecom analytics plugin???

    Hi @regedy1,

Thank you for following up. The current beta version of the plugin doesn’t yet include add-to-cart events, cart abandonment, or conversion rate metrics. Since the extension is still in active development, we’re working to build it out based on feedback from users like you. Your input here is genuinely helpful in highlighting what matters most.

In the meantime, we do have a solution that can help you achieve these results today. WooCommerce Google Analytics extension integrates with Google Analytics 4 and provides detailed eCommerce tracking, including add-to-cart events, checkout behavior, and conversion metrics. I know you mentioned that GA4 setups can feel complicated, but if you decide to give it a try, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us. We’re happy to help you configure it and get analytics working for your store.

Thank you again for your patience and for sharing your feedback.
