Slimstat Counting Bots

    Over the last two or three months, I noticed an increase in my bounce rate (the bad kind of increase). Looking through Slimstat, I realized the plugin was counting bots, which are giving 100% bounce rates. I’d like to be able to block certain screen resolutions from being counted, as many of my top screen resolutions are obviously from those bots (1024×1024 and 1366×1366 being the main culprits). How can I do this?

    Hi @macwillard,

    Thanks for reaching out.

    Currently, Slimstat doesn’t have an option to block specific screen resolutions.

    As a workaround, please make sure you’ve checked Slimstat > Settings > Exclusions and enabled Spammers and Bots.

    This should help reduce bot-related bounce rate inflation.
