Sitemap doesn’t include any categories

    Hello,
    I am trying to Generate XML Sitemap using The SEO Framework. All worked on fine. But Output Sitemap doesn’t include categories. I can’t find all 28 category pages in sitemap.xml.

    Hi Yuri,

    Terms and taxonomies aren’t included in the sitemap of TSF.

    The superficial reason is written in the FAQ.
    The rudimentary reason is that it causes too much overhead for us to include perfectly; for something that’s ultimately ignored and done better and automatically by search engines.

    P.S. I recommend enabling transient caching for the sitemap, it’ll take a big load off your server’s resources.
