    Hello Team,

I’m just activated this plugin and enabled “Apply to existing orders also”. By that time, there were X orders already in dashboard. Only for them, sequence generated is applied and for new orders, I see the order number as the wordpress post ID. Please help.

    Hi @jagadeeshch,

    Thanks for reaching out.

Kindly deactivate and reactivate the plugin, then create a new order to see if the issue is resolved. Additionally, please share the following details with us for a better understanding of the issue you are facing.

    • Full screenshot of the Sequential order number plugin settings page (WooCommerce > Settings > Sequential order number).
    • Full screenshot of WooCommerce order list page (WooCommerce > Orders).

    Hello,

I deactivate plugin and activated it back. Then in plugin settings page, I checked Apply to existing orders as well as new. Then existing orders were tagged sequential numbers until #PREFIX-33.

New orders #4080, 4081 are not assigned with sequential no’s.

Strangely when I checked now, sequential numbers started to get tagged for orders from #4082 as shown in screenshot.

We literally didn’t touch the website, this happened automatically. Any insights of this behavior that we can record and use if this comes up in future?

Sequential number now seems stopped generating and using WP post id from #4100, all this is happening with out any changes in the admin dashboard/config. Pls assist. I’ve also shared WC status report using the link you shared above.

    Hi @jagadeeshch,

    Thanks for sharing the details.

By default, the plugin generates sequential order numbers as set in the plugin settings. In case you’re using a custom checkout flow, there might be a conflict. Could you confirm if that’s the case? If possible, please share your site URL and a short screen recording of the checkout process so we can try to replicate the issue.
