just found that the scheduled post only can be posted till 2 weeks later? Can it be posted earlier?

Additional scheduling options, including specific times and posting immediately, are available in the Pro version of the Plugin only:

If you prefer to use the Free version of the Plugin, you may wish to adjust your Buffer queue’s settings, to have more time slots, therefore ensuring Posts added to the end of the Buffer queue are published sooner:
