This plugin was recommended to me when I ran into an issue with my site. Some scheduled events were trying to run in the background eating up usage so the site became unreachable.

I installed this plugin and can now see some of the “cron jobs” that should be running. Not sure what to do next. I’ve tried running or deleting them but they don’t seem to go away and some of them are from old plugins i don’t even use any more. Beyond that, I’m just not sure what to do to fix the issues that are being displayed.

  • HI @myenglishimages

    Thanks for reaching out!

Can you please share with us a clear screenshot of what you see on your end so that we could address you more effectively?

If you don’t already have a screenshot service installed, you can try https://snipboard.io or http://skitch.com/. You can share the direct link to the image as a response to this topic.

Additionally, I’d like to understand your site properly, please share your System Status Report that you can find via WooCommerce > Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it into your reply here.

If you could also provide the fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.

    Thanks!

Hi, thank you for getting back to me. I don’t use Woo Commerce on my site. I installed WP Control and can now see a list of cron jobs. Selecting them gives me the option to delete them or run them. Doing this doesn’t seem to have any effect.

    Hello @myenglishimages,

The Action Scheduler plugin is a developer-level plugin. For support, you can make a report in the following repository: https://github.com/woocommerce/action-scheduler

If you need someone to help you build a custom solution, you can hire a WooExpert.

    Cheers!
