Role Portfolio Manager

Hello,
here’s my scenario: i use VP to manage only “Saved Layouts” to be added as shortcode in my site-theme – so i deactivate from settings the “portfolio” post-type.
I was tying to promote a user to the Role “Portfolio Manager” in order to let him edit only the image in the galleries but that role gives him only the chance to click on “Visual Portfolio->Saved Layouts” [post_type=vp_lists] but not to access the page (with the WP default deny screen)

Is there a way (or some capability) to give to that specific user for editing that entries? It seems it could be only done by and admin (manage_options)
