Sorry for missing this! As I mentioned in the review, that’s something I’ll be working on soon, but I can’t think of any way around those issues at the moment.
Just released the update to address these issues.
hello, do you mean that if it stops for any reason (server problem), it will restart where it was automatically, or after I refresh the page ? Thank you.
@discountpleasure,
If there is a server problem, the process usually just continues on with the next image and displays an error message. Otherwise, if the process is stopped, a refresh is required to resume it. As far as I can remember, the only way that happens is via the stop button, or navigating away from the page.

if you have alot of files (in my case, 15k products, sometimes 1 image, sometimes 6 images per product, and then I had 4 sizes per image – thumbnaild, medium etc.), then the process stopped due to nonce expiration. you can extend it (I don’t remember, but chatgtp 4.0o can help you), then maybe if you’re lucky. At the end, best you can do, s use some plugin to see active sizes, disable it with functions.php and run paid short pixel regenerate thumbnails which allows resuming (only plugin i found). don’t forget to cancel renewal.
good luck, this plugin is simply made to help seo/awareness of paid plugin at the end. nothing is for free in most of cases, definitively not here.

@mcdeth and @discountpleasure,
In the latest release of FRT, the nonce should never be a problem. I implemented the same nonce “renewal” process that we have in EWWW IO that can run for days on end without issue. And as I mentioned earlier, FRT can now resume the process also. FRT is still free, and the free version of EWWW IO can be used to suppress sizes/thumbs you don’t want, along with 100% free lossless compression on unlimited images (unlimited size also).
