Render-blocking requests – Autoptimize css files

    I use the free version of Autoptimize, and when I test my site with PageSpeed ​​Insights, it shows me some issues that need fixing.

    The first concerns some CSS files related to this plugin (in the “Render-blocking requests” section, plus two others related to Google Fonts).

    How can I fix this problem?

    Are there any special settings I need to configure?

    In the plugin settings I’ve found “If you have render-blocking JS issues, you can try disabling this logic here”, but this option is already disabled.

    Have a look at the “eliminate render-blocking CSS” option @olistic , to do so you you’ll have to either;

    a) generate & copy/paste the “above the fold CSS” in the field below (more info in the AO FAQ, look for “inline & defer CSS”) OR
    b) create manual rules on the “critical CSS” tab (generating critical css for each rule) OR
    c) take a subscription for AO Pro or at criticalcss.com to automatically generate critical CSS rules
