    Hi, will the obtrusive banner to upgrade your plugin on the plugin page ever be removed? It is too pushy, and you are the only one doing it, which says something. Please allow for the banner to be permanently removed. Thank you.

    Hi,

    You can close the banner at any time by clicking on the cross in the corner of the banner. We do not display the banner in places where it is prohibited by the platform rules.

    I was having issues with removing the banner, but it looks like it simply had some conflict with some other plugin. Now I was able to click on the cross.

    I have no problem clicking the cross and removing it, I am having an issue with the fact that after removing it, next time I come back to the plugin page, the banner is back again. As a neverending story, quite annoying.

    I have got a similar problem. Even though I completed the setup and used the “Test Keys” option, the nagging “Double-Check Your reCAPTCHA Keys” warning appears on top of the list of plugins and there is no option to dismiss it.

    I can confirm the banner is indeed back each time I log into my site’s administration page again.

    @andrewsupport : solutions?

    Hi @tezalsec,

    We haven’t encountered this issue during plugin testing. To determine the exact cause, we’ll need access to your site. Please create a new ticket in our Help Center:
    🔗 https://support.bestwebsoft.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

    In the ticket, provide your WordPress admin access (with Administrator permissions) and FTP credentials (host, username, password). During testing, we might disable some plugins or switch the theme, so we recommend creating a full backup of your site before sharing access.

    This information will be visible only to our team, as the ticket is private.

    Hi @testenglish,

    Your request doesn’t exactly match the topic, but here is a possible solution to your issue.

    Verify that the keys are correct here – https://www.google.com/recaptcha/admin#list. If keys are correct, but the problem still remains, try to generate new keys and enter them on the plugin settings page.

    After this try to follow the next instructions in order to test reCaptcha’s keys:
    1. Go to reCaptcha Settings page;
    2. Click “Test reCaptcha”;
    3. Test your reCaptcha;
    4. Then сlick “Test Verification”;

    Also, it’s necessary to check the reCaptcha version because if you switched between Version 2 and Version 3, you should regenerate new keys.

    I suspect the above response was for another ticket.

    I do not give out admin access to my site for issues like this. 🙂 But it seems I am not the only one having this issue. I understand it is very well possible it is caused by a conflict with another plugin. If you give me an email address, I am willing to email you the list of used plugins.

    Hi @tycooko ,

    When the banner is closed, the settings are saved in the profile cookies, and it should no longer appear.
    If it still shows up, it’s most likely due to a conflict with other installed plugins.
    To resolve the issue, please create a new ticket in our Help Center:
