    Hi

    I have a live site using rank math 1.0.257. Now I want to update it to latest version is it safe to update? Is there any chances of site performance affect or SEO of whole site?

    The latest stable version of the Rank Math plugin is 1.0.257, which you can verify here: https://rankmath.com/changelog/free/

    If you would like to update to the beta version, please note that beta updates are not recommended for live or production sites since they can cause issues. We highly recommend installing beta updates only on a testing or staging environment and avoiding them on live sites.

    Unless you have a specific need for the beta version, you can safely skip it on your live site.

    Sorry I mentioned wrong version of rank math in my question. Currently my live site is using version 1.0.215.1

    Hello @jerry0000,

    In that case, you can safely update from version 1.0.215.1 to 1.0.257. This is a stable release, and updating won’t slow down your site or negatively affect your SEO.

    If you’d like to be extra cautious, you can take a full backup before updating, but it’s not mandatory.
