Random content I can’t remove

    Hi,
    I am in the process of building my website wp with free astra theme, and there is content on pages

    which I didn’t put on the page, and it’s not in the theme footer either

    I though it might be an elementor template but it shows even when I deactivate the plugin. I’ve deactivated all plugins and reactivated one by one and no changes…
    So I’m going round in circles; any thoughts on where to find it or how to remove it are gratefully received. Thank you!

    Have you tried a different THEME?

    Some themes put in default data.

    Hi Mika,

    Thanks for coming back to me; I haven’t tried that – I’m a bit of a tech numpty, will I lose everything if I switch themes? 😣😣

    Contact the Astra support forum to clarify where the issue is coming from: https://wordpress.org/support/theme/astra/

    And of course you can change the theme at any time. As a rule, you will not lose any content, unless the new theme imports any demo content (very few do). I would recommend that you always create a backup before making such changes.
