• On a quick edit of page all I see is a text box labelled ‘Allowed Roles’ and a checkbox marked ‘Private’

There is no list to select from so if I type subscriber into Allowed Roles will it allow anyone logged in or just subscriber?

What does Private mean in this context?

Plus it won’t save, just a turning circle for ever.

Its fne on a full edit

  • Hi there,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

The Private checkbox in the page’s Quick Edit section is used to restrict access to users who are not logged in the WordPress site.
The Allowed Role feature lets you specify which WordPress roles can access the page after logging in. You can add multiple WordPress roles separated by a semicolon (;).

We are aware of the issue with Quick Edit settings not being saved and are working on a fix, which will be released as soon as possible.

    Thanks,
    Sangu Reddy.
