Greetings, I’ve encountered such a problem: compression works great, but even after full compression, it keeps doing a full compression again and again, not just for new images. In the “Images optimized in the media library” section, it always shows 0, while in “Total savings” and “Images processed” the numbers change. Why is this happening and what does it depend on?

Hope you are doing well today.

Could you please go to wp-admin -> media library, switch to list view and check the Smush column? You can see which images are being compressed and if there are any issues with the Bulk by pressing the re-smush if the images are not compressed.

If you are seeing that the images are compressed in media library but Smush stats still show zero, there might be a plugin conflict causing this issue and I would suggest running a full conflict test.
