    Hi,

I’m using WPLP Cookie Consent on a production website running:

    • WordPress 7.1.1
    • WooCommerce 11.1.1
    • PHP 8.5.4

With WordPress debugging enabled, I repeatedly receive these notices:

    1. The script with the handle “cookie_scanner_ajax” was enqueued with dependencies that are not registered:
      gdpr-cookie-consent-admin-revamp
    2. The script with the handle “ab_testing_ajax” was enqueued with dependencies that are not registered:
      gdpr-cookie-consent-admin-revamp

WordPress reports these as incorrect usage of WP_Scripts::add.

Could you please check these script dependencies and confirm whether this is a known compatibility issue with the current version of WPLP Cookie Consent?

    Thank you!

    Hi,

Thanks for the detailed report and for including your environment versions, that helped a lot.

I’ve confirmed this on our end, and I can reassure you straight away that this is a cosmetic notice only. Nothing on your site is broken by it. The Cookie Scanner and A/B Testing screens continue to load and function normally, and there’s no impact on your visitors or on the cookie banner itself.

We’ve already made the correction in our plugin. This will ship in the upcoming release of WPLP Cookie Consent.

In the meantime, no action is needed on your part. If the entries in your debug log are a nuisance, the usual recommendation applies: WP_DEBUG is best left disabled on a production site, which is the appropriate setting there in any case. If you’d like to keep logging on, the notices can safely be ignored until the update lands.

Thanks again for taking the time to report this clearly — it made the diagnosis quick.

    Best regards
    WPLP Compliance Team
