Hello @ov3rfly,
Thanks for using Yoast SEO. With the latest version, other profiles filled in are still listed as
sameAs. Please provide us with screenshots that highlight the issue you are experiencing. You can use any image-sharing service like https://pasteboard.co/, https://snag.gy/, https://imgur.com/, https://snipboard.io/, or even upload the screenshot to your own website. Once you upload it to an image-sharing service, please share the link to the image here. How can I post a screenshot of something which is not there any more?
Testcase:
- Install fresh WordPress
- Install & activate Yoast SEO Plugin

sameAsto be found.I was not able to replicate what you described. If you prefer, you could consider purchasing a Yoast SEO Premium subscription since it comes with email support. Then we can investigate the issue further directly on your setup privately.
The testcase is simple, just follow all steps exactly as described, 100% reproducable in any new installed setup.
I won’t purchase a Premium subscription to make you use the above testcase, are you even serious?
As this issue has been magically marked as ‘resolved’ by somebody but clearly is not:
Feel free to mark the reported issue as ‘resolved’ after a plugin update with a fix has been released, not before. Thanks.

Please let me know if there is anything else I can do to help.@eduardor Your screenshot and html-source of tastewp website shows that you did not follow the simple testcase steps exactly as described.
Why is this issue marked as ‘resolved’ by somebody again and again when it clearly is not resolved yet?
Is really nobody able to follow really simple testcase steps exactly as described?
Feel free to mark issues as ‘resolved’ after a plugin update with a fix has been released, not before. Thanks.
Issue is still present in Yoast SEO 25.9
Stop marking this issue as ‘resolved’ again and again, it is clearly not resolved yet.
Hi there! Thank you for contacting Yoast Support.
We understand you are having issues with your organization’s schema. Please know that
SameAsonly outputs when it’s a valid option. By default, the Organization details are semi-empty, and they are required before theSameAsis shown. Kindly try adding your Organization name and logo by clicking on the select image to replace the default logo and then saving the changes.Have a great day!
Organization
logois not an required field in ld-json / schema.orgYou can clearly see in described simple testcase that Yoast SEO first-time configuration! at The Site Representation step does not require selecting an image, there is no notice about any non default requirements, the configuration happily continues without replacing the default logo.
If your plugin specifies
logoas required to show other unrelated fields likesameAs, it should tell the user in your first-time configuration! Thanks for the feedback. Is the issue resolved for you after filling out the organization name field and uploading an organization logo?
@maybellyne Obviously you do not yet understand the scope of this issue.
The above simple testcase for Yoast SEO first-time configuration! does not include filling in any fields besides Add another profile.
Maybe you missed the most important part of our feedback:
If your plugin specifies
logoas required to show other unrelated fields likesameAs, it should tell the user in your first-time configuration!<span style=”box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;”>Step 2 in the first-time configuration is Site Representation, where you can fill out the organisation name and upload an organisation logo.</span> Here’s a screenshot of what it looks like. What does yours look like?
