On the new analytics, I want to run an order report to find out what my best sellers are to my least sellers so Ican get a good idea of what probos will be really enticing and it just keeps doing these stupid comparison reports. I don’t want year over year, just best to least seller from a custom date range. How do I get this information from my woocommerce store now? If I try to do sales by product, it refers me to the new Analytics section, and there isn’t anything exportable from the sales by product page.

Hi @jeffsbesthemp ,

I see you’re looking to find your best to least selling products. In the new Analytics section, you can sort your products by sales without the comparison.

Here’s what to do:

1. Go to Analytics > Products.
2. Click on the “Advanced filters” option.
3. Select “Show: All products” and below that, set your “Date range” according to your preference.
4. Now, look at the “Total sales” column on your screen, it’ll show your products sorted from high to low by default.

To get this data out of WooCommerce, at the top right, you’ll find the “Download” button. Hit that, and you’ll get a CSV file with your products and sales info.

Hello,

Thank you for the Input. Unfortunately, there is no section for “Advanced Filters” that I can see.

Can you show me a screen shot where I would locate that on the page?

Hey @jeffsbesthemp ,

The Analytics > Overview page has a “Product” section where you can sort by Items sold. You could filter the Date range to a custom date, and then click to download the report, as seen here:

The Leaderboard section, on this same page, also allows you to view the Top selling products for a specific period:

If you’re looking for a more comprehension overview of sales data, you may need to take a look at a plugin that provides an advanced sales analysis and exporting tool.

The Sales Analysis for WooCommerce extension provides detailed insights into sales, include top sellers vs lowest selling products for a specific time period, if you’d like to check it out.

So, can I do it in the date range for just a singular date section? It keeps trying to force it as a comparison and it doesn’t look the way I need it.

@jeffsbesthemp, could you describe what is the way that you need it?

The comparison is used to show the percentage trend (“%”) in the summary tab and in the chart.

If you want the chart to display only one period or date range (for example: without the previous year or previous period), the checkboxes in the chart allows you to toggle the visibility of the different data set periods – see https://woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-analytics/#analytics-basics__summary-numbers-chart for more info and screenshot.
