• Thanks for the beautiful theme! I have just started a website and BlogHash does everything I need.

I am trying to optimise the website and realised that the Featured Image is flagged as too big when testing with PageSpeed Insights ( https://pagespeed.web.dev/analysis/https-agexyz-com/twmgbzoi1z?form_factor=mobile ).

There’s this recommendation to use smaller image and/or responsive image. “This image file is larger than it needs to be (600×450) for its displayed dimensions (330×248). Use responsive images to reduce the image download size.”

There is also an alert regarding “Render blocking requests”.

Is there something I can do to make the site lighter?

    Hello @woohoo007,

Thank you for choosing our BlogHash theme and we are glad that you liked it.

About post featured images, you can choose which size of featured image you want to display by navigating to Customizer BlogBlog Page / Archive

    See screenshot for reference: https://prnt.sc/XbT6UNj_UCBU

To speed up your website you can lazy load the images. There are lots of plugins are available out there on wp plugin repo to use this feature.

    Best regards,
    Alex

    Hello @alexperegrine

When I set it to Medium (300×300), the image got cropped like this -> https://prnt.sc/NQQX-qHxpz0p

The current Medium Large (768×0) looks like this -> https://prnt.sc/NuPSpB6b_NVL

Is there a way to set the image size to be smaller in the correct proportion without cropping?

    Thanks!
