• We do a lot of business in India and South Asia and were seeking a UPI solution – we have offices in the USA and Switzerland, but nearly 60% of our daily orders are from customers based in India.

We are asked every day whether we accept UPI payments. Unfortunately, this plugin did not work for us.

    Hello @varsitysports

This plugin is purely for Indian businesses, and it’s mentioned in the plugin description also. As you don’t have Indian bank account, this plugin will not work for you. This is not the limitation of this plugin, this is the requirement of UPI payment protocol. UPI is expanding in many other countries also, but for compatibility, you will have to check with your banks.

If you are interested, I also have another solution for you. Using Razorpay Payment Gateway, you can easily accept payment from Indian customers using payment methods like UPI, Netbanking, Cards etc and settle the amount in your non-Indian banks. This is know as Razorpay Import Flow or Import Stack.
You can find more information about Import Stack at links below
    1. https://razorpay.com/blog/what-is-razorpays-import-stack-everything-you-need-to-know/
    2. https://razorpay.com/docs/payments/international-payments/accept-international-payments-from-indian-customers#businesses

Please note, Razorpay Import Stack requires businesses to fulfill some integration requirements. Our other plugin call Knit Pay fulfills all those requirements and can help you start accepting payment using Razorpay Import Stack easily on your website; and the best part is, it’s free to use. If you need any help setting up Razorpay Import Flow on your website, feel free to contact our support for free consultation.

Now coming back to your query of not accepting UPI in this plugin, as I mentioned this is not the limitation of this plugin. It would be great help for us if you could reconsider the reviews you have given for this plugin.

    Thanks and Regards
