    Dear Sir or Madam, is it necessary for the server to be accessible via the internet to activate your product? And if so, is this only a one-time requirement or is it permanent?

    Hi, it is not necessary for SiteOrigin Page Builder. You can download the ZIP file here https://wordpress.org/plugins/siteorigin-panels/ and install the ZIP from Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin. Plugin version updates could be manually installed the same way. The server could never be online and operate in this manner.
