    Hello,

    I noticed there’s a file created by this plugin inside of the wp-content folder. Object-cache.php is from the memcached object cache plugin, but upon reviewing it i found it’s version 2.0.2. Whereas when I check to see what version it’s currently up to, I see 3.0.1 so I’m curious why you wouldn’t want to use the latest version in this plugin?

    We can’t use it right away because we have to modify the drop-in to make it work with our custom system. As to your particular question, we’re planning on updating the drop-in in a more serious way and probably we won’t be using that one as a base but write it from scratch. Hopefully, that will be updated in the beginning of the next year.
