    Hi there,

    Thank you for providing those details. The message you are seeing is a PHP “Notice.” It is not a critical error that will break your site, but rather a warning about the background loading order of scripts.

    This occurred because the recent Elementor update likely changed when certain assets load. WPForms is trying to load its Elementor integration script (wpforms-elementor) before the core WPForms script (wpforms) is registered in the system.

    Here are a few steps to resolve or bypass this issue:

    1. Hide debug notices (Recommended if the site works normally): Since this is not a fatal error, the best approach for a live site is to disable error display. Access the wp-config.php file on your server and ensure these lines are set to false:PHPdefine( 'WP_DEBUG', false ); define( 'WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY', false );
    2. Wait for a WPForms update: The WPForms team is likely already aware of this conflict with the new Elementor version. Keep an eye on your Plugins dashboard and update WPForms Lite as soon as a new version (newer than 2.0.2.1) is released.
    3. Clear your cache: If you use a caching plugin (like LiteSpeed or WP Rocket) or server-level caching, be sure to clear it completely after the Elementor update.
    4. Rollback Elementor (Only if the editor is blocked): If this notice is preventing you from using the Elementor editor, you can temporarily downgrade Elementor until WPForms releases a patch. You can do this in your WordPress dashboard by navigating to Elementor > Tools > Version Control > Rollback Version.

    Thank you for the very thorough guidance. WPForms Lite did just have an update but that didn’t work. Elementor also had an update but that didn’t work. I cleared cache and that didn’t work so I went with the hiding debug notices. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
