I’ve been receiving emails for the forms that were submitted since I started using this plugin. However, recently, I’ve noticed that I’m no longer receiving these email notifications. I haven’t made any changes to my settings, so I’m unsure why this issue is occurring.

  • Have you checked the email processor on your host?
Do you utilize an SMTP plugin for email delivery, such a PostSMTP, FluentSMTP, or WP Mail SMTP?

I know if my form submissions are not being delivered, it is either because the “from” address in the form settings is an email I don’t have specified in WordPress or on the host, or my SMTP settings need tweaking. Some SMTP settings require a secure “secret” or token from the email provider that will expire. Most recently my forms stopped delivering because a secret had expired between my Outlook email account and FluentSMTP.

    Hi @yusufsadur,

Did you check the suggestion by @mlipenk ?

In general, Forminator only initiates an action to send the email, it’s your WP website that sends the email.

Could you please confirm whether emails work fine in general or not on your WP site? You could try resetting the password of one of your WP accounts and see whether reset password emails get sent or not.

If the issue is still the same, then either the email is ending up in the spam or an issue with how the website is sending an email which might be more specific to your host.

You could also use an Email log plugin and check whether the emails are logged in the plugin when the form is submitted:
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-mail-log/

If the emails are picked in the Email Log plugin, then it would mean that emails are getting sent but it isn’t reaching the destination.

In that case, you could check with your Hosting provider or SMTP settings to confirm if there isn’t any issue with the Email server.

If you don’t have an SMTP you could also use an SMTP plugin to ensure the emails reach the destination without any issues. You can refer the following about setting up SMTP:

    Kind Regards,
