• Update: Adding the checkmark on “Save images locally (GDPR)” in the settings helped (thanks to the developer for that).

Old review: The description says no external site calls but that is not true! The widget loads user images for the reviewers from google servers and that is a clear violation of GDPR!!!

I turned showing the pictures off which seems to have helped but still… there should be a big fat warning about that and it should be off by default. Other than that the widget worked great and I am happy to adjust my review once this is fixed but right now it is absolutely dangerous to use it without the right settings for anyone serving European clients!!!

    Hi @cryot,

Sorry, did you try this option in the place section (widget builder)?

Please try that and let us know, because it’s absolutely GDPR compatible with this option.

    Thanks!

    Hi @cryot,

Can I get any feedback on this issue?

By the way, if it doesn’t work for you, you should have written to the support forum instead of leaving a review.

    Thanks!
