If it was in fact a nightmare, then I’m sorry to hear your experience was less than ideal. However, I don’t see where you reached out with questions in the support forum or via the plugin’s website regarding any specific issues. That probably would have same you from “a lot of time wasted”.
Unfortunately, it’s also impossible for me to resolve any actual issues when the user doesn’t specifically identify what those are.
I do know of users using the plugin with Elementor, and I have tested it using Elementor myself with no issues.
